I have alot of trouble with shoes/sneakers. I can't have any leather or hard surfaces binding on myfeet. After a million years of suffering from every different type I finally found these that have atotally soft & pliable yet strong upper. I don't know why but sometimes these seem hard to getor find so even paying more for them I get them when I can.
