NYDJ have changed their sizing so that a 12 is no longer a 12. You have to order a size up from their measurements of 2-10 years ago, so a 14 fits like a 12 now. That being said, the fabric of these jeans is a nice quality, and they have good stretch. They are comfortable and presentable. The color is a muted green just like it shows in the photo. Perfect with a beigy top or sweater and nice for autumn. They are long enough on me (I am 5'2") that I could hem them if I don't want the frayed bottoms to show. Excellent value on this purchase.I love these pants, don't get me wrong, but the calves are way too large. They are baggy and I hate that. If you stuff them in higher boots, they are fine, but for flats or ankle boots, they are just too loose. I might actually get them tailored because I love the way the feel and the waist is perfect.I am a size 4 (in most brands) and I ordered a size 4.LOVE these jeans! It's my first foray into skinny jeans and I couldn't have picked a better pair. I will be ordering more! They are so comfortable it felt like I was wearing leggings. I gave it 4 stars because the waist loosened up within an hour of wearing them but my waist is small compared to my bum. I just need to find a belt that's not too bulky. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!I love, love, love NYDJ and these are amazing. All the other reviews said to order one size down and so I did. I usually wear a size 4 and I ordered a 2 and it is perfect. These jeans fit a curvier body. I have a smaller waist and larger hips and legs and these fit like a glove. I usually have to take my pants in the waist but I will not have to do it with these. I just ordered another pair. Also they are less expensive on Amazon that at Nordstrom. I love Amazon!I have several pairs of NYDJ and they are all a size 10. These jeans do not fit the same as all my others and the fabric doesn't seem to be the same quality. The denim is thin and and stretchy, not at all like what I'm used to with this brand. I got a great price so I'm not sending them back but they almost seem like a bad knock-off. I'll use them for runs to the grocery store.Great Jeans. Very soft and comfortable. The color is darker than picture. Please do not forget to order a size smaller than your actual size as it has been mentioned in the description. I order my actual size so it does not fit perfectly, I cannot return it because I take off the labels but you be careful :)These are my new favorite jeans! The waistband comes all the way up to my waist, which helps to eliminate those ugly stomach rolls when you sit down. They are long enough for me, (I am 5'7") and they are very VERY comfortable. They seem to run a little large, but I am okay with that as I was not wanting them to be skin tight skinny jeans, but a more traditional look. They have real pockets, not just decorative ones like some jeans that are out there.Update of earlier review...still the best jeans ever. So I wanted to order another pair or two since the price was unbelievable compared to department stores. I was dismayed and baffled when I went to my previous orders page and hit the "order again" key only to find out that the price had doubled. I feel like I've been a victim of the old "bait and switch". I have no problem with the concept of supply and demand but , as much as I adore these jeans, I just can't spend $124 on a pair. La tela esta deliciosa, suave y se ajustan muy bien al cuerpo. Si buscas algo mejor que unos jeggings, te los recomiendo. Los quiero comprar en todos los colores!Fit parfait
