I love Jag jeans and already had a pair of Marla Jeans, purchased in a store, which fit me perfectly and have been my absolute favorites. The only problem was that the store didn't carry petites so I had to have them shortened. I was thrilled to find the Marla style in petite sizes (and had already ordered a couple of Jag petites in other styles which fit perfectly, including length). So I was really aghast when I received this pair and found them a good 3" too short! I am barely 5'2" and 142#, a size 10 or 12 petite, and I NEVER find a pair of pants that otherwise fit me to be too short!!! (I ordered these jeans in a Medium Petite, and they were overall perhaps a bit snugger than my other Jags, all 10P, but still acceptable had the length been OK.) I ordered three other pairs of Jag jeans at the same time as these and, though these were the most extreme deviation from a correct length, another pair I ordered was a good 2" too long. I had read in online reviews on and off Amazon about problematic length (and sometimes other size dimensions as well) in Jag Jeans and now I know what they were talking about! It's very annoying, and a dilemma as to whether to try to exchange them for another pair in the same size and style, in hopes that one will actually get a pair of the correct length. The worry, of course, is that a replacement pair would still be off in length, requiring a second return. At least when the pants are longer than they are supposed to be, you can have them shortened! These pants are useless to me and I am forced to go through the hassle of a return. I really wish Jag Jeans would correct this manufacturing problem in what is otherwise a really wonderful product!
